The Jedi Order High Council sat in a circle within the conference room atop the tower. Most of its members attended remotely via hyperspace communication, while two seats stood empty, belonging to Plo Koon and Depa-Barris.

Master Windu spoke gravely. "The Supreme Strategic Command has reviewed and assessed the Battle of Christophsis and the Second Battle of Bespin. In addition to ordering Governor Sulama to return to Hoth Planet immediately to oversee the war, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano have been accused of making serious mistakes during the battle on Christophsis and spreading false intelligence, which nearly led to the annihilation of the 19th Army at the Battle of Bespin. Jedi Master Yah-Yah also fought to the very end and died in that battle."

"Afterward, Chancellor Palpatine ordered a continued investigation and discovered that the Republic Intelligence Department had also committed extremely serious errors throughout this series of events. This showed that responsibility for the defeat should not rest entirely on the commanders at Christophsis. Furthermore, Anakin captured one of the Separatist commanders, Volm Lotham, and preserved their remaining forces to the greatest extent possible, so no charges will be pursued.
