"Roar!!!" The Enlightener let out a furious howl and rampaged through the Republic flagship, the Prosecutor-class battlecruiser, like a humanoid tank.
"Move, move, move!! Stop it! Stop it!!" The Marines aboard the warship set up layer after layer of defenses, but none of it mattered.
The Enlightener was not only immensely strong and impervious to blades and bullets, but it was also incredibly fast, with almost absurdly quick reflexes. It could even catch rockets fired by Clone Troopers or throw grenades back at them.
Once all the Clone Trooper Marines who had organized the defense were killed, the remaining crew members and regular soldiers aboard the ship immediately collapsed into chaos, fleeing in all directions only to be hunted down and killed one by one.
The Enlightener grabbed an engineer and lifted him before its face, uttering a single muffled word. "Bridge..."
"It's... it's..." The engineer was terrified out of his mind. With a trembling hand, he pointed in one direction.
The Enlightener said nothing more. It simply brought its hands together and squeezed, actually crushing the engineer's entire body into a ball of flesh! Blood streamed down in torrents.
Suddenly, it seemed to sense something. It spun around and hurled the ball of flesh away.
Whoosh!! A green Lightsaber flashed, instantly splitting the flesh ball in two. Yet a massive spray of blood and shredded meat still splattered all over the newcomer.
It was Jedi Master Toka. After Jedi Master Adi Gallia and the others had sacrificed themselves in their assault on the Sith Lord Archangel of Death, he was now the highest-ranking commander of this fleet.
This was also a regulation imposed by the Galactic Republic Supreme Strategic Command after the war began: all accompanying Jedi Masters held the equivalent rank of general and automatically possessed supreme command
