At last, after flying for 29 standard hours, the Plague warship finally reached the area where that unknown fleet was located. Due to continuous damage and malfunctions inside the warship, they had arrived four hours later than expected.

Yet the powerful fleet of 200 Dreadnought-class heavy cruisers still showed no movement, merely floating silently in space.

Sefrans Tann watched the 200 warships arranged in dense formation through the sensor display, her brow deeply furrowed. Then she opened a public channel and said, "This is the Plague Titan warship of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' Western Reaches war zone. "General, should we fire a shot to test them first?" the adjutant asked quietly.

"No. Send people aboard several of the warships directly," Sefrans Tann said.

"Isn't that too risky?" The adjutant frowned.

"We don't have much time left," Sefrans Tann said. "Rather than blindly probing here, we should board them and take a look. How many usable exploration craft do we have?"

The adjutant immediately replied, "Twelve. They're all small craft that can only carry five people."

"Divide into three groups. At the front, middle, and rear of the fleet formation, randomly select one warship each and attempt to dock simultaneously." Sefrans Tann issued the order directly.

"Yes!"

Twelve exploration craft, carrying several Fourth Civilization Marines and B-1 battle droids activated from storage, flew toward three randomly selected Dreadnought-class heavy cruisers.
