Background / History

In the Divine Realm, Xiao Wu is Tang San's partner and the mother of Tang Wutong, whose childhood name is Xiao Qi. When Tang San senses that Xiao Qi's bloodline connection and Divine Sense have vanished, Xiao Wu is devastated and asks to accompany him to the Douluo Continent; Tang San instead orders her to remain in the Divine Realm. 24 25

In the past-era storyline, Xiao Wu lives at Nuoding Junior Spirit Master Academy as Tang San's roommate while concealing her identity as a transformed hundred-thousand-year soul beast. Lu Jing abducts her from the academy dormitory, seals her Soul Power, and reveals that he knows both her species and her mother's death at Spirit Hall's hands. 54
