You don't want to be a ghost anymore, do you?

I achieved enlightenment through self-cultivation, not by following any master. Therefore, in my understanding, there's no such thing as divine protection.

All I have is "As urgent as the law commands!" Don't you dare let that ghost get away! Or sometimes, Amitabha, gods and Buddhas, get out of my way, let me go first.

All this talk of terror and fear, it's just here to help me achieve my goals.

Encountering a ghost means a ghost has come to help me practice how to catch ghosts.

Encountering a god means a god has come to help me cultivate my energy.

Whatever I encounter, I use it. There's no difference.

I'm not saying all those teachers who talk about cultivation are bad. Some are good, but you have to know how to listen.

Many of them are using stories and metaphors, which is also called expedient speech.

In the end, the key to the problem lies within your own heart.

What else?

This one tells you praying to gods is useful, that one tells you ghosts are haunting you and you need to burn money.

Damn it, speaking of which, ordinary people barely have enough money to live on, who are we supposed to burn money for? It'd be better if we just robbed them!

Robbing people is definitely not okay, it goes against rules and laws. We have to be law-abiding citizens.

But robbing ghosts and deities? No one seems to mind that, right? Since the law doesn't say I can't rob ghosts of their money, it must be allowed, right?

Damn it, the first thing I do when I see a ghost is slap it a couple of times and ask if it knows me. If it knows me, it better not move! If it doesn't know me, I'll make sure it knows me today!

Heaven and Earth are boundless, all methods return to one. I command all things, gods and demons surrender, as urgent as the law commands! Go to hell!

Slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap! First, I give it a good thrashing.

Everyone who reads my books and cultivates with me, remember this! Don't be a good citizen of the cultivation world! Be a bandit and a robber in the cultivation world. After I rob them, I'll bring blessings to the world.

Sound the charge for me! Let's beat them up first, then rob them.

Ghosts' money is a good thing, it can get things done down there.

Listen up, as a mere vagrant of the cultivation world, am I going to let you guys bully me?

Damn it all, this mortal realm is not a place for you to run wild. If you can't stay down below honestly, you dare to come up here and cause trouble?

Then I'll show you what a bandit leader of the cultivation world is.

If you don't give me money, you still want to act tough in front of me? You must not want to be a ghost anymore, huh? Huh? Damn it!

If you give me money, then I'll have money. Then you really can't act tough in front of me!

Otherwise, I'll beat you to death!

Haven't you heard? Which ghost have I encountered that I didn't bully?

If I don't bully you, wouldn't my immortal cultivation be in vain?

Besides! Who told you to come here and spout nonsense?

I founded the Sword Immortal lineage, and our main focus is using the sword of intent to slay demons. If I don't deal with you, who will?

Righteousness and evil have always been irreconcilable. It's impossible for me to burn money for you. Unless you kowtow to me a thousand eight hundred times first, then maybe I'll consider burning ten dollars worth of paper for you. But! I can't guarantee I won't rob you after burning the paper! You figure it out!

Cultivation is inherently an act of defying heaven, competing for the spiritual Qi of heaven and earth. Ghosts are also a type of spiritual Qi, also called ghost Qi.

It's already good if I don't eat ghosts, cough cough cough. What's wrong with robbing ghosts of a little money?

Others cultivate to become immortals and achieve the Dao! I don't!

I cultivate for the sole purpose of robbing ghosts and deities, and plundering immortals.

Hahaha, my main goal is to do as I please and do whatever I want.

If a ghost crosses my path, I'll immediately invoke "Divine Soldier, Urgent as the Law Commands," give it a few slaps to taste, and then strike it a couple more times with my materialized sword of intent.

But remember, if your elder's ghost appears in your dream, don't hit it! Burn paper for them, that's filial piety. And those from your own family aren't called ghosts, they're called ancestors, and ancestors are equivalent to ancestor immortals. Hahaha, (but if they have a bad relationship with you and try to bully you, you still hit them! You understand the social dynamics of the cultivation world perfectly!)

Even inner demons have to behave themselves with me. If they don't let me sharpen my sword on them, they won't get to leave. Listen, they used to cause trouble in my heart all the time, and I didn't even charge them rent. How dare they come back? If I catch them, they get a severe beating.

When inner demons come to ordinary people, it's distressing and painful. My inner demons don't dare to come. If they do, I'll fight them. I'll materialize them in my heart, give them a lesson with a small whip dipped in chili water, and then poke them with my materialized sword so they know who's in charge.

All these distracting thoughts and troubles, get rid of them all, understand?

You are the master of your own thoughts, and you let them bully you? They make you upset, so you're upset? They make you suffer, so you suffer? You don't beat them?

We say you can't hit people, but you can't even discipline your own unruly thoughts?

If you see a woman having evil thoughts, beat up the evil thoughts first!

If you remember something painful, first ask it who made you think of it? If you didn't make it think of it, and it thought of it on its own, then beat it.

What is "the death of the mind and the birth of the Dao"? First, kill all these distracting thoughts in your heart that cause you pain, and then you will have the Dao.

If you feel pain because of a thought that arises in your heart, then eliminate that thought.

If you feel fear because of something you're thinking about, then eliminate that thought too!

If you eliminate them, you become a god. If you keep eliminating them, they won't dare to come and make you suffer.

Your thoughts are your karmic habits, and karmic habits are all about picking on the weak and fearing the strong.

If you're strong, they become weak; if you're weak, they become strong.

Only by getting rid of these distracting, chaotic thoughts can you become your true self.

Don't believe me? Look at rich people. They lack nothing, right? Yet, they still have plenty of worries and suffering.

That's because they, too, are plagued by these messy, chaotic thoughts.

If you can avoid being disturbed by your own thoughts, you'll surpass 99.999% of the people in this world.

Truly few people in this world can be called human, or rather, can live as their true selves.

This is because their minds are clouded.

Guan Zizai, Guan Zizai. One must first be able to observe the freedom within their own heart before they can become their true self.

Chaos and confusion, confusion and chaos. Today's wine doesn't relieve yesterday's sorrow, and today's sorrow doesn't need tomorrow's wine.

The best cultivation for a person is to observe themselves in the present moment, liberating their inner heart from the chaos of thought.

Otherwise, the bitter stories of today will still cause you heartache in the future.

Only when people learn to save themselves can they escape the sea of suffering.

Giving a man a fish is not as good as teaching him to fish. If my explanation cannot help you escape the sea of suffering, then read it again and again, and slowly comprehend.

When you're bored, you can research what the Heart Sutra or the Platform Sutra are really talking about.

Don't listen to those fools who tell you that you must read this scripture, listen to that scripture, and even copy it all down.

They are all foolish lackeys. Those who truly understand the Dharma will explain and discuss scriptures with you; they won't just tell you to copy this or recite that without explaining what's actually being said.

Just remember one thing: all scriptures speak of the same thing. They all revolve around describing the laws and states of the mind.

For example, when Guan Zizai Bodhisattva, practicing deeply Prajna Paramita, perceived that the five aggregates are empty, he transcended all suffering.

Guan Zizai, perceive, the five aggregates are empty, transcend all suffering.

What "Guan Zizai" is being observed? What does "perceive" mean? What does "the five aggregates are empty" mean? How does one "transcend all suffering"?
