At 7:30 PM on August 18th, seven suns appeared in the sky above Chengdu.
Some said it was a light refraction phenomenon, others speculated it might be parallel universes, and even more boldly claimed that Hou Yi was about to return.
Cough, cough, cough, I'm one of those bolder ones, hahaha.
Actually, personally, I feel that parallel universes are more likely.
It's like a mirage; we also consider it a refraction phenomenon.
But if you truly search the world for a place that matches the scene in the sky, some you can find, and some you absolutely cannot.
Where did those unfindable ones refract from?
Is there a possibility they came from other timelines?
Just like many scholars believe that this world only has space and no time, and that time is merely something humans invented to keep records.
How can you be sure that you weren't in the past ten years ago?
And how can you be sure you won't be in the future ten years from now?
Let's assume, for a moment, that ten years ago, ten years from now, and your present self all exist simultaneously.
Then, if scenes from the past or future appear in the sky, projected due to temporal distortions, doesn't that sound reasonable?
Could those seven suns be projections from seven different timelines?
Back then, when temporal distortions caused nine suns to appear together, a young man discovered this problem and found a way to restore the temporal distortions, which is why the other eight suns disappeared, leaving only the one for this timeline.
Someone recorded this process and called it Hou Yi shooting the suns, hahaha.
Sometimes, people truly need to dare to imagine, just like how before airplanes were invented, people longed for a pair of wings.
Often, many impossible things begin with daring to imagine and daring to act.
When I meditate sometimes, I occasionally enter an inner realm. This realm is similar to a dream, yet it's equally real.
Who's to say this realm isn't a real existence in another timeline?
Just as through cultivation, one can break free from the shackles of the physical body, allowing consciousness to roam the Great Void, capable of reaching the highest heavens or plumbing the deepest seas, and learning many things in this realm that cannot be learned in reality.
Could it be that one is crossing timelines and dimensions to learn?
I've even tried solving math problems in my dreams, and other tests, and I've also dreamed of myself writing.
It's just that the things I actively test, I can remember, but many things I passively forget after waking from the dream.
Perhaps I should cultivate properly. Bringing things from the inner realm into reality would be divine.
Throughout history, many people have done similar things. Some solved scientific problems in their dreams and recorded them upon waking.
Some learned from people in their inner realms while meditating and applied it to real life.
I haven't actively pursued this ability, so regarding life, I can constantly perceive every thought that arises in my heart.
To be honest, I don't have many thoughts in a day. If I were to claim that my True Self and the external thinking self are one, I wouldn't dare to be so boastful. Based on my perception, I might be about eighty percent integrated.
In my opinion, if they were completely integrated, one wouldn't need to actively think; everything would be done based on past accumulation, instinct, or first intuition.
Today, my friend who practices Spirit Mediumship told me that he's always plagued by distracting thoughts, which makes him agitated.
I taught him the method and application of transforming thought into sword.
This is essentially a way to make one thought counter ten thousand, concentrating one's thoughts on a single point to break through the multitude.
I don't take disciples; I teach them by affinity, hoping to help those who need it when they need it.
Let me reiterate here: no matter what you believe, if you can't even control your own thoughts, you must learn how to control them. Because only when a person subdues their own thoughts can they become their true self.
Otherwise, every time your mind wanders, or you habitually think about something, it's not really you.
Or rather, it's you being controlled by thoughts, you being obscured by thoughts.
Sometimes, when people hear or see things, they need to quiet down and use their hearts to truly understand.
To rely on past understanding, self-perceived or heard from others, is simply foolish.
If you believe your thoughts rather than having your own unique understanding, then you are a pawn being manipulated.
Changing your destiny is actually so simple you won't believe it. Just remember one thing: everyone dies, so don't live in the eyes or mouths of others.
Let go of all worries, pressures, and entanglements, and do something that you'll deeply regret not doing by the time you die.
Persist for a few years, or a decade or more, depending on yourself. As long as you believe that on your deathbed, you'll regret not having done it.
Don't wait, don't always tell yourself you'll find time later. When your realm isn't high enough, you won't even know how much time you have left.
Just do it first. Everything is done by doing and thinking simultaneously; only thinking is useless.
You see others succeed, and that's because while you were lost in thought and fantasy, they were already quietly working.
You only see their success, but you don't see their suffering and persistence at all.
Take Mr. Guo's success as an example. You only hear about how hard and difficult it was for him back then, but you haven't experienced it yourself.
And now, looking back, you can only see the glory after his success.
Without those years of persistence, when even eating was a struggle, where would today's peace and prosperity come from?
A person's success, whether due to effort or talent, is impossible without perseverance.
Someone who relies on talent to paint, but stops painting, their talent is like a big piece of crap, gone with a little push.
Someone who relies on effort to dance, but takes breaks often, then their so-called effort is just like farting.
While it's true that any success requires favorable conditions like timing and location, if you haven't even taken the first step.
I can only say, dreams are truly a wonderful thing.
Don't think I'm saying this lightly; haven't I been persevering too?
When I first started writing, I dreamed of one day earning an income from it, no longer working for others.
Later, I realized I had been too naive. Writing has its own patterns; blindly writing will never develop your unique style or help you shine.
I've also considered giving up, but then I thought, if I don't write an amazing book, I'll die with regrets.
But then again, without a natural talent for writing, what good is regret? Wouldn't you agree?
Damn it, I refuse to accept that! If I don't have talent, I'll force myself to gain it. I read and listen constantly, writing every day. I simply refuse to believe or accept defeat.
Of course, there were times when I was completely lost and had to stop and think for a long time. But I never once considered giving up.
As my cultivation realm grew higher, my focus shifted from relying on writing for a living.
Instead, if I don't write a book that genuinely helps people after reading it, then my cultivation has been in vain. What's money compared to that? When I die, money will be nothing! If I don't write what I want to write before I die, no amount of money will make me feel content.
Everyone dies, sooner or later. I'm not afraid of death. I'm only afraid of being happy and at ease myself while everyone else is still trapped in suffering, unable to escape. It pains me to see that.
