A served as the Fourth Raikage of the Land of Lightning. Faced with the Land of Fire's growing influence and the Three Nation Alliance, he endorsed an extreme plan to strike Konoha through deception, border provocations, and a large-scale reverse summoning operation. Its intended objective was to decapitate Konoha's leadership and seize control of the Land of Fire before its defenses could react. 75

He personally led the infiltration force into the Land of Fire alongside Killer B and Mabui. After Konoha's pursuit jeopardized the operation, A was prepared to remain behind and sacrifice himself so the mission could continue, though Doro and other guards volunteered in his place. 86

After his initial infiltration group was pursued through the Land of Fire, A continued the operation with Mabui and Killer B. The force established the array in a concealed canyon and began teleporting Kumogakure troops toward Konoha. 86 91 96

Battle of Konoha

A led the assault once Kumogakure's army approached Konoha, but Chiba Ran raised a massive chakra-absorbing earth wall around the village, halting the invasion. 101 102

Chiba Ran then outmaneuvered A among his own troops and created five hundred shadow clones to engage the invading force. 102 A and Killer B attacked together, but Chiba Ran defeated Killer B with a palm strike and deflected their combined attack. 103

A's Lightning Scythe was stopped with two fingers, after which Chiba Ran sent both A and Killer B flying. Killer B's subsequent transformation into Gyuki's Complete Form also failed to change the battle's outcome. 105

Aftermath and Final Resistance
