At Zhao Han's shout, people fled in all directions.
The people around Wenren Sheng, standing on dry land, remained fairly calm. Some even covered their mouths and laughed at those fleeing in panic...
But before long, Zhao Han's terrified words robbed them of that calm.
"Not good, that shark is amphibious! Everyone, run!"
With that, she grabbed Wang Wenwen beside her and took off running.
The others turned and ran as well. Only Wenren Sheng remained standing there casually, letting the wind blow over him.
"Teacher, why aren't you running? That monster is really dangerous!" Zhao Han shouted anxiously after running several dozen steps and noticing Wenren Sheng had not moved at all.
"You run. I'll cover your retreat," Wenren Sheng said with a wave of his hand.
"Teacher is so wonderful." Zhao Han ran away, deeply moved.
"Don't worry about him. We're squirrels crossing a river, while he's an elephant..." Wu Shanshan said irritably as she followed behind Zhao Han.
With Wenren Sheng walking against the flow, the others clearly felt much more at ease.
Still, the scene remained chaotic. Looking around, the crowd on the beach scattered in every direction like dumplings boiling in a pot.
Some of the cleverer ones ran in advance toward the competition venue and the Navy Base. Others had clearly lost their heads and could only blindly follow the crowd deeper into the island.
Amid the chaos, Wenren Sheng noticed someone else who was as calm as he was—the man who had just been fishing with real money.
Sure enough, something was off about him.
Not much time passed before most people had even left the beach when a massive whirlpool suddenly appeared beneath the calm sea!
Wenren Sheng watched the whirlpool patiently and was reminded of the Heroes of Might and Magic
