In a small town, inside a spacious, empty underground warehouse.
The eldest of the Seven Sworn Brothers, a fair-skinned young man who looked only a little over thirty, was squatting on the ground, looking at a portrait mixed with gray and white.
The lines on it were chaotic. An Ordinary Person would have to strain greatly to make out the ferocious yet grand, enormous human face within.
Within the face's two huge eyes, scenes of ongoing events were displayed.
"Is this all the power you have?" The young man's tone was full of disappointment, without the slightest bit of reverence.
Earlier, he had still been calling his brothers and sisters "Master" every other sentence.
"That is an anomaly. An opponent this powerful should never have appeared here in the first place." The face's mouth opened and closed.
"Really?" The young man's tone plainly meant, "You're obviously just weak, yet when you lose, you insist on finding some excuse like bad weather."
"However, we have long had a response plan for anomalies like this." The face on the ground spat out a small gray-white ball.
The young man picked it up directly and examined it in his palm.
"This is the Riddle Ball. Activate it, then use it to set up a new barrier. It is an object of rules. If those who enter cannot answer the riddle you set, they will be lost in a maze. They must leave the maze before they can continue onward," the face explained.
"Why didn't you take it out earlier?" the young man asked directly.
The face did not answer.
The young man suddenly smiled. He poured his Alien Power into the gray-white ball and activated it. A map and a pen appeared on its surface.
