After listening to his son, Wenren De did not interpret the dream immediately. Instead, he asked, "You went to make a phone call as soon as you got back, then went to sleep. I haven't even asked yet—how did Zhao Han and the other person's examination turn out?"
"Nothing was wrong," Wenren Sheng hinted.
"That's good." Wenren De relaxed. Zhao Han was the one in the family who respected him most, so he favored her more as well.
Should he have another daughter?
His son was already this grown, anyway.
"What about the dream?" Wenren Sheng pressed.
"Oh, that dream of yours. One of your students must be in trouble, and that student should have quite a deep bond with you."
"No. I can't be sure who it is, but it's definitely a man. Don't talk about bonds." Wenren Sheng quickly waved his hands.
"Oh, then you have an unusually close relationship. That's why you were able to hear him. Among your male students, there probably aren't many who fit that condition." Wenren De looked as though he understood everything.
"Uh, now that you put it that way, I think I know who that guy is. Only he fits the conditions."
The face of an ordinary-looking young man surfaced in Wenren Sheng's mind.
Then that face vanished, replaced by a monster with a thousand eyes and a thousand hands.
Before it disappeared, it had said one last thing to him: it would let him see what it could do.
