Background / History

Lin Tian was originally a high school student in Yicheng City's Second Middle School. He was an orphan and had grown up in the same orphanage as Liu Qing, whom he supported with cultivation resources for years. His predecessor died after consuming a defective Blood Qi Pill while trying to reach the 100 Vitality threshold, after which Lin Tian transmigrated into his body. 1

Initially possessing only 98 Vitality, Lin Tian was treated as someone unable to become a Martial Artist. His refusal to continue supplying Liu Qing with Blood Qi Pills marked a complete break from their one-sided childhood relationship. Soon afterward, he awakened the Host Invincible System and received a Martial Saint Summon Card. 1

Lin Tian summoned Fancang Martial Saint, whose descent created the great-sun phenomenon over Yicheng. After learning to use the system's Small World and receiving the Heavenly Origin Technique through sign-in, Lin Tian reached 200 Blood Essence and became an Extreme Martial Artist. 2 3

Following an assassination attempt arranged by Li Ming, Lin Tian ordered Fancang Martial Saint to eliminate the Li family. He then established Heaven's Gate, naming himself its Heavenly Lord and using the organization as both a deterrent and the foundation of his growing influence. 6
