"Young Master, are we really going to keep going?"

The bodyguard stared at the pitch-black passage ahead. The only light came from the flashlights in their hands, while the tunnel ahead resembled a monster lurking in the darkness, waiting to devour anyone who approached. It was unsettling.

Ian said unhappily, "Of course we have to keep going! Didn't you see it just now? That Corphish had an unusual color, and those red eyes! As a Trainer, don't you know how rare a Shiny Corphish is?"

"To catch it, forget entering one tunnel. Even if I told you to blow up this entire cave, it would be worth it!"

"Besides, the old man will cover for us!"

In pursuit of that fleeting glimpse of Corphish, Ian had led his bodyguard deeper and deeper into the Great Underground Cave, eventually arriving before this passage.

The tunnel was long. Even with a flashlight shining into it, they could not see its end.

For some reason, the bodyguard felt alarm bells ringing wildly in his heart, urging him to leave immediately and not proceed any farther.

But when he remembered that the Dominic Company was paying him more than twice what his previous employers had, the bodyguard swallowed hard. In the end, he yielded to the temptation of money and followed Dominic onward, searching for the fleeing Corphish's trail.

After an unknown amount of time, the long passage finally neared its end. Ahead was a solid rock wall—a dead end without question.

The bodyguard crouched down and examined the clearly fresh small hole in the ground. He said helplessly to Ian, "Young Master, that Corphish probably used Dig to escape somewhere else. We probably can't catch up to it."
