Standing beside a patch of land that looked utterly lifeless, Liao Xingchen stroked his chin as thoughts raced through his mind. He tried to untangle these scattered clues and find the culprit's trail.

The target's whereabouts were uncertain. It had only secretly absorbed the plant energy from small patches of land insignificant to Viridian Forest, and each absorption point was separated by a certain distance, scattered randomly throughout the forest. There was nothing that could truly be called a clue.

But the other party definitely had some sort of scheme. That was an undeniable fact.

The Charizard beside him lowered its head and pressed close to Liao Xingchen's cheek. The warmth it radiated seemed to tell Liao Xingchen not to worry, that it would handle anything for him.

"Thank you, Charizard." Gently stroking Charizard's two long horns, Liao Xingchen's turbulent thoughts gradually settled. He took a deep breath, and a confident smile spread across his face.

"That's right. No matter who dares cause trouble within the Divine Land Alliance, they had better be prepared never to leave."
