Background / History

Lily's earliest recovered memory is of waking in a doghouse beside a cabin in a snowy forest. An elderly couple found and adopted her, mistaking her slow development and frequent fainting spells for an intellectual disability. While lost in the woods, she discovered her ears and tail, realizing that she was not human. 1032

Her apparent amnesia was ultimately traced to an accident of reincarnation: the First Saint's shattered soul entered a newborn husky, and the mismatch damaged the soul during the body's remodeling. This left Lily with incomplete memories and a personality distinct from her past life. 1032 1033

When residual soul fragments returned to her, Lily recovered pieces of the First Saint's memories but described them as someone else's experiences, with no emotional identification with that former self.
