"It seems this is the only candle I could find."
After bringing Song Haoran into this seaside apartment, Luo Qiu pointed at the candle standing on the coffee table, looking rather helpless.
"It really was a sudden bout of strange weather." Song Haoran sat down and watched the candle's orange-red flame. "Even the communication equipment was damaged."
He shook his head. "This sort of thing probably only happens in movies."
Luo Qiu smiled without saying anything more... He couldn't exactly say that he'd suddenly felt like showing off and brought a natural disaster upon the city.
"By the way, where's your girlfriend?" Song Haoran looked around.
This was his fourth meeting with Luo Qiu. During the previous three, he had always seen the girl who was inseparable from him.
Luo Qiu poured himself a glass of lemon water and said casually, "She was tired today, so she went to bed a little earlier."
"Oh, then let her get some more rest." Song Haoran did not seem to mind... Rather, his expression made it look as if he felt it suited his wishes better to have no third person present.
He looked at Luo Qiu. "I think you've probably guessed why I came this time, haven't you?"
Luo Qiu nodded.
Song Haoran said directly, "Then I won't beat around the bush either. This is the examination report I got from the hospital. I kept an eye on the entire process. Fortunately, the results came out before the storm, or we probably would've had to wait even longer."
At this, Song Haoran smiled faintly. "It seems this was Heaven's Will. Heaven's Will allowed me to settle this matter today."
Luo Qiu took the examination documents from Song Haoran and read them carefully without replying. Song Haoran waited quietly. He knew that whoever
