His attitude was utterly casual, as though he had been hitting on a woman, only for her boyfriend to show up and wave him off before leaving—the sort of thing that happened all the time on the streets.

"You're looking for death." Arno's eyes revealed a frightening, violent savagery.

Just as he was about to teach the bandage-covered man another lesson, Caroline grabbed his arm tightly and said quickly, "Don't cause trouble."

"But he..." Arno turned to Caroline, still seething with anger.

Caroline shook her head. "I don't know him..."

Before she could finish, Caroline suddenly looked ahead in surprise. Arno noticed her movement and followed her gaze, only to find that the bandage-covered man had already gone far away, blending into the crowd.

Arno reluctantly lowered his clenched fist. Caroline gently tugged at his clothes and whispered, "Let's go. There's no point anymore."
