What startled Han Yi was that the scene before him was utterly different from the ruined Heavenly Palace he had just seen.
What lay before his eyes was an endlessly vast and bizarre expanse of water—chaotic and disordered, yet flowing in perfect order.
Its disorder lay in the rivers suspended in midair, flowing in different directions and crisscrossing one another.
Yet its order lay in the fact that these intersecting rivers seemed to exist in different spatial dimensions. From where he stood, they appeared as though they would collide, but in truth, each remained unharmed, flowing endlessly on.
Han Yi knew that the space within Bai's Continent was exceedingly strange, unlike that of the other Lands of Holy Origin. The third space he had been dragged into when he encountered the White Evil Demon was one such example.
Yet the sight before him still struck him as wondrous and uncanny.
After observing for a while, he discovered that the seemingly chaotic yet orderly rivers possessed different attributes as well. Some carried waters of absolute cold, while others flowed with terrifyingly heavy water.
The longer he watched, the more alarmed he became. Every water attribute he knew of seemed to have a corresponding river here.
"This is a land of water."
A faint realization dawned on him.
Only then did he slowly flee forward. Along the way, he tried extending his divine sense into the rivers to determine whether the water within was real. He found that it indeed was, and that there was no danger within this watery realm.
A trace of doubt arose in Han Yi's heart. He had once learned about the various wondrous landscapes deep within Bai's Continent, but this pure water realm had not been among them. He inferred that it had likely appeared only recently
