History
Ancient Great Luo records recognize three historic Heavenly Venerables: Qin, Ye, and Abyss. Each was regarded as an extraordinary prodigy favored by the Heavenly Dao, while Heavenly Venerable Qin had already vanished into the long river of time 572 749.
The birth of a Heavenly Venerable produces a grand Heaven and Earth Anomaly known as the “Heaven and Earth Imprint, Ten Thousand Daos’ Acclaim.” Supreme Unity Dao Ancestor’s ascension as Supreme Unity Heavenly Venerable caused such a phenomenon across the Immortal Realm 524.
Sui Zhu Dao Ancestor ascended to Heavenly Venerable during the Boundary Mountain Range conflict. His breakthrough deterred further attacks by the Virtual Demon Palace and shifted the balance of power around the Sui Zhu Immortal Court 628. He later departed the Extreme Ancient Era alongside a Great Heavenly Venerable for the Dao God Alliance 636 648.
Dong Huang Bu’er inherited Dong Huang Taiyi’s remaining power and absorbed the Monster Race’s destiny, allowing her to become a true Heavenly Venerable rather than one with a flawed Great Dao 768 877.
Han Yi underwent a distinct Heavenly Venerable Tribulation involving the Three Voids, Six Tribulations, and Nine Heavens of Chaos. After entering the Ninth Layer Chaos Space, he comprehended the Power of Chaos and forged the foundation of a Heavenly Venerable Sword Dao Domain 822 824.
Ascension
Accounts of ascension differ by cultivator. During Sui Zhu’s breakthrough, Immortal Venerable Hongwu stated that Venerablehood was rumored to involve no tribulation 628. Han Yi, however, faced a tribulation that tested his body, soul, Dao, karma, time, yin-yang balance, destruction, and Chaos 822.
A successful ascension grants comprehensive growth in cultivation, body, soul, and lifespan. Han Yi’s breakthrough also enabled him to refine and manifest a Heavenly Venerable Sword Domain with thirty-three High-Grade Dao Swords 824.
Abilities & Traits
Chaos Power and Great Dao Integration
Heavenly Venerables refine Chaos Power, cultivate domains, and fuse the Great Dao into themselves to form Heavenly Venerable Power 913.
- The difference between a Heavenly Venerable and an ordinary Dao Realm cultivator is overwhelming; a First Step Dao Realm cultivator may be treated as insignificant in direct combat 706.
- Low-Level Heavenly Venerables can still be threatened by stronger peers, Divine Venerables, High-Level Ancient Artifacts, and Realm Venerables 825 850 864.
- Peak Heavenly Venerables may approach the limits of the rank, but their power remains conceptually below that of a Realm Venerable 943.
Heavenly Venerable Domain
A Heavenly Venerable Domain is formed through the integration of a cultivator’s Great Dao and Chaos Power 913.
- Han Yi forged a nascent Sword Dao Domain during his ascension and later expanded it through High-Grade Dao Swords 824.
- His Sword Domain could serve as a place for other cultivators to deduce the Sword Dao 832.
- A Heavenly Venerable’s aura may be imprinted upon a faction’s territory, discouraging unaffiliated Heavenly Venerables from attacking it without cause 824.
Ancient Artifacts and Supreme Treasures
Heavenly Venerable-level equipment can greatly exceed ordinary Dao Artifacts.
- Sui Zhu Mountain is a Heavenly Venerable Supreme Treasure that surpasses Dao Artifacts and is the true form of Sui Zhu Dao Ancestor 580.
- Complete Heavenly Venerable Ancient Artifacts are regarded as unparalleled opportunities even for Dao Realm cultivators 750.
- High-Level Ancient Artifacts can repel opponents who would otherwise be vulnerable to a stronger cultivator’s attack 850.

Influence on the Chaos
- Heavenly Venerables can protect major powers through their presence alone; Sui Zhu’s return once prevented Purgatory Island and the Virtual Demon Palace from acting rashly against the Sui Zhu Immortal Court 705.
- Their absence can maintain balance as effectively as their presence: after many Heavenly Venerables departed the Extreme Ancient Great World, Dao Ancestor-level factions avoided outright destruction because no dominant Venerable remained to intervene directly 648.
- Heavenly Venerable-level factions may possess multiple Dao Integration and Outer Dao cultivators beneath them, as demonstrated by the True Saint Palace 766.
- Heavenly Venerables frequently contend over Ancient Artifacts, cultivation resources, Dao Domains, and sect inheritances 834 864.
- Even among their own rank, power gaps are severe; High-Level Heavenly Venerables can suppress several Mid-Level or Low-Level Heavenly Venerables at once 862.
