Background

Su Hao originated as a peasant from Hundred Rock City in the Qin Kingdom. During wartime displacement, he and other refugees were brought to the Golden Light Sect; an Outer Sect aptitude test initially judged him to have no cultivation talent. He was instead selected as one of Lin Zhi Shan’s Medicine Slaves, unaware that the group was being cultivated as material for the Hundred Profound Gang Body. 58 86

He possessed an unusual ability to comprehend written cultivation methods after reading them. He used it to master the Medicine Slave chapter of the Hundred Profound Medicine Veins, then deliberately concealed his aptitude and intentions from Lin Zhi Shan. 2 3

After discovering that Lin Zhi Shan intended to use him as a medicinal ingredient, Su Hao focused on survival: collecting Talent Powers, learning sword arts, acquiring concealed weapons, and cultivating in secret.
