Appearance
A handsome young man with mixed human and demonic features. His half-demon appearance can pass as local camouflage in the Sky Garden Dynasty, while his combat form manifests as darkness and black cloud-like mist 287 393 496.
- Black demonic wings, capable of carrying Yang Qiangwei in flight 371.
- Can merge with wind and vanish into darkness 315.
- Can transform into a fast-moving black cloud 496.
- His demonic lineage was distinctive enough for Feng Ruoxi to notice his resemblance to Feng Xun 393.
Personality
Yang Feng is fiercely loyal to the Yang Family and willing to accept personal danger for those he considers family. During the Jin Family’s siege, he opened the Demon Realm teleportation array to seek power, despite knowing the decision could lead him into ruin 311. He later accepted being dragged into the Demon Realm to protect Yang Qiangwei 316.
He is bold, confident, and highly opportunistic. Rather than openly contesting Feng Yi for the Feng Family, Yang Feng proposed returning under false pretenses, outlasting Feng Yi, and taking the clan with minimal bloodshed 442. He remains composed under intimidation and refused Feng Yi’s attempts to manipulate him with the Feng Family Patriarch position and the Primordial Pot 441.
His approach to combat is pragmatic to the point of shamelessness: he prefers to cultivate until his realm exceeds his opponent’s rather than challenge stronger enemies directly 524 594.

Story Role / Major Arcs
Birth and upbringing
Yang Feng was born to Feng Xun and Misha Zi with a Dark Heavenly Spiritual Root, Supreme Darkness, and Wind Walker. Yang Genshuo immediately recognized that, if raised outside the Yang Family, Yang Feng could become an unprecedented future enemy; he therefore resolved to keep the child within the clan 284.
Yang Feng grew up beside Yang Qiangwei. The two were not blood-related, became childhood sweethearts, and developed mutual feelings while living in the Yang Family 287.
Defense of the Yang Family and Demon Realm exile
When the Yang Family was besieged by the Jin Family, Yang Feng chose to activate the Demon Realm teleportation array in pursuit of power to protect his family 311. He returned during the crisis, killed the Jin Family patriarch, and used his Wind Walker talent to evade the Ashwood Swordsman Spirit Puppet 315.
A demonic vine subsequently dragged him into the Demon Realm. Yang Qiangwei chose to follow him through a deal with the Demon Race, and Yang Fu vowed to rescue them 316.
Sky Garden investigation and Feng Family destiny
Yang Feng and Yang Qiangwei investigated the Sky Garden Dynasty while disguised as half-demon, half-human travelers. Their investigation revealed the Feng Family’s wealth, its ties to other worlds, and its search for a descendant tied to a “fated pact” 393.
The remnant soul of the Feng Family Ancestor appeared through the Ancient Coin, recognized Yang Feng as the Feng Family’s destined leader, and entrusted him with the Primordial Coin 409 411.
Succession to the Feng Family
After Feng Yi approached him with an offer to inherit the Feng Family, Yang Feng proposed a long-term strategy: feign acceptance, acquire the Primordial Pot, and eventually take over the Feng Family without prolonged war 442.
He entered the Sky Garden Dynasty with Yang Qiangwei and was formally declared Feng Yi’s successor. Over the next three years, he consolidated authority until the Feng Family was effectively under his and Yang Qiangwei’s control 540 541.
Feng Yi’s betrayal and the Floating Island escape
Feng Yi later ambushed Yang Feng on a floating island, intending to seize his body to extend his own lifespan. Yang Feng used the Primordial Coin and Throwing a Stone to Get Jade to shatter the suppressing formation, creating dangerous spatial turbulence 556 576.
With Spirit Stones delivered by Yang Qiangwei, Yang Feng annihilated the Deformed Army blocking their escape. Feng Yi, Feng Xin, and Ye Liyue ultimately surrendered 578. After Feng Yi’s death, Yang Feng gained full command of both the Primordial Coin and Primordial Pot as the Feng Family’s sole Patriarch 579.
Later leadership and disappearance
Yang Feng led the Heavenly Dragon Army in its campaign against the Spirit Devouring Race, favoring overwhelming artillery, drones, and White Phosphorus Bombs against weaker enemies 524.
After Yang Qiangwei obtained the second volume of the Reverse Flow Art, their respective cultivation paths diverged. Yang Feng abdicated the Feng Family Patriarch position to her and went to the Spirit Vast Continent to seek a Nascent Soul breakthrough 622. He later entered a Legendary Land in search of a new opportunity and vanished; no news of him had been received for ten years 622 705.
Notable Quotes
“As long as I cultivate fast enough, my realm will always be higher than my enemies’! I will be invincible!” 463
“If I can’t compare to others, I’ll go cultivate.” 594
Trivia
- As a child, Yang Feng could ride the wind so naturally that Misha Zi tied him down with ropes to stop him from flying away; when he was three, Yang Fu found him sleeping among the clouds after a day-long search 371.
- Yang Feng’s cultivation resources were fully supplied by the Yang Family from childhood through Golden Core Tenth Layer; he did not earn Spirit Stones for the family during that period 505 535.
- Although Mi Duo entered a secret realm with Yang Feng and later gave birth to Yang Zhu, Yang Genshuo’s system-based bloodline logic ruled out Yang Feng as Yang Zhu’s father 664.
