Nick's furious roar snapped Hawkeye awake. He instinctively adjusted the arrow's direction, and his battle-hardened skill ensured that even with his eyes closed, he could never miss.

An ordinary arrow shot out, piercing through Alexander's calf and pinning him firmly in place.

Having lived in comfort for so long, how could Alexander endure such pain? He nearly passed out on the spot.

After a brief but fierce battle, much of the smoke dispersed. Nick immediately lunged forward and pinned Alexander to the ground.

"Alexander, perhaps I don't understand Hydra's grand ambitions, but I understand you very well."

He dragged Alexander to his desk and, in front of the graphene display, forcibly pried open his eyelids.

"Iris confirmed."

Nick then grabbed Alexander's palm and pressed it against the screen.

"Fingerprint confirmed."

The display immediately switched to an unfamiliar control interface, and Alexander's expression turned ugly.

"See? I know you well." Nick sneered and tossed Alexander aside.

Hydra might have had some lunatics who truly believed in its creed, but Alexander was definitely not one
