After a brief exchange, Lin Dong looked at Liu Xi and Qing Yan Jing, his expression solemn as he spoke earnestly:

Liu Xi replied with a light laugh as he sized up Lin Dong before him. His appearance was not particularly outstanding, but there was a trace of weathering in his eyes, while determination and stubbornness were already written across his face.

The aura around him was somewhat unusual. Although he was above Earth Supreme Great Perfection, he was not quite a Spiritual Grade Heaven Supreme either.

He was somewhere between the two. Perhaps his spiritual energy and body had yet to fully merge, given that he had come from a lower plane.

Yuan Power had long taken deep root within him. To completely replace it with spiritual energy, he still needed more time to adapt and temper himself.

Lin Dong was also observing Liu Xi. Though his face remained fairly calm, a raging storm had already risen in his heart.

At first glance, Liu Xi seemed to have merged with heaven and earth, his aura peaceful and natural;

but upon closer inspection, one could sense the blazing intensity and domineering power hidden beneath that calm.

His aura was as vast as the heavens and as heavy as the earth, while an overwhelming pressure poured down like surging tides...

It reminded Lin Dong of how he had felt when facing the Alien Demon Emperor before breaking through to the Ancestor Realm.

It made one feel utterly powerless.

Since arriving in the Great Thousand World, this was the first time he had encountered such an expert. Yet Lin Dong did not feel particularly discouraged; instead, a desire to catch up
