Niming Lake lay close to the Gloomlight Mountains, with the Kaya Rainforest bordering it to the right.
Geographically speaking, Niming Lake was nothing remarkable. Yet this small lake had drawn nearly half the demons of the third layer of the Abyss, and had even been designated a forbidden zone by wizards.
Because the legendary Demon City—Lasudelan—was located on the small island at the center of Niming Lake.
More accurately, Lasudelan was not actually on the island. The island merely provided the spatial coordinates for entering it; its true location lay within an unknown void.
At this moment, ripples spread across the waters of Niming Lake.
A blue-skinned figure moved elegantly through the lake like a fish, eventually arriving at the island in its center.
Aside from its light-blue skin, it looked somewhat human. However, it had no ears. In place of them were two downward-curving horns. From this trait alone, one could tell that it was a Half-Blood Demon.
Plapa was its name. In Demon Tongue, it meant nameless wild grass—tiny and humble, yet brimming with vitality.
Throughout the third layer of the Abyss, Plapa also belonged to the lowly sort. Whether in terms of strength or bloodline, it ranked at the very bottom.
After all, aside from one half inherited from an Abyss native, the other half of its bloodline came from a Floating Imp.
Floating Imps were demons with an extremely low lower limit, but an extremely high upper limit.
Their low lower limit was universally acknowledged. Many Floating Imps could only remain at the very bottom of demon society their entire lives. Some Half-Blood Demons were even stronger than Floating Imps from birth. This alone showed just how pathetically weak Floating Imps were.
As for their high upper limit, that was merely a title Floating Imps had
