Homelander had been especially obsessed with the term Super Villain. Whenever someone said "super-terrorist," Homelander would insist on correcting them to "Super Villain."
This showed how desperately Homelander wanted real Super Villains to exist. That way, he could finally be a genuine Super Hero.
