A Regretful Announcement to Everyone

The bug-catching event has been temporarily suspended.

There are two main reasons.

First: force majeure. Because I kept sending red packets, both the operator and my payment account were restricted for making frequent small transfers. There's no way to continue sending them.

Second, over the past few days, the nature of the event has changed somewhat, and it has begun to stray from my original intention.

At the beginning, Wanba started this event mainly so that when everyone spotted a typo, they could share a knowing laugh, while trying not to damage the reading experience of all you esteemed readers. When my mistakes affected reading and weren't corrected in time, someone could help Wanba smooth things over.

I also said in the group that money wasn't important; the reading experience was.

But now, the reading experience is gone. Some friends have turned into people who hunt typos for the sake of hunting typos, losing sight of the reading experience. Meanwhile, they've begun getting hung up on obscure, remote points that don't affect reading at all, and the trend is becoming increasingly serious. This truly goes against my original intention. It isn't something I want to see.

Moreover, because the platform doesn't revise feedback very promptly, the screen-flooding in the chapter comments has become obvious, and it also seriously affects subsequent readers.

So Wanba has decided to suspend this event.

All in all, Wanba didn't think things through properly. I was wrong.

I'll discuss it with the operator and see if we can arrange some other kind of event in July or August to make it up to everyone.

Maybe the airplane-cup giveaway that Old Wu has been strongly demanding...
