History
Early Life and the Demon Race Invitation
Fuxi and Nuwa have lived together since taking human form, sharing an exceptionally close sibling bond. A master of deduction, Fuxi is regarded as the foremost divine calculator below the Saints and cultivates the Way of Deduction. 5
During a journey, he meets Di Jun and Tai Yi, the Three-legged Golden Crows of the Sun Star. Impressed by their apparent imperial aura and shared ideals, he considers their invitation to gather oppressed beings under the name “Demon” and establish a new race. 5
Nuwa later reveals Qing Xuan’s prophetic inner thoughts to him. Fuxi attempts to investigate Qing Xuan with the Innate Eight Trigrams, but finds only an impenetrable mist without past or future; the backlash injures him. Qing Xuan’s warnings about the Demon Race and Heavenly Court eventually make Fuxi wary of Di Jun and Tai Yi’s recruitment. 6 7 9 11
Founder of the Human Teachings
After Nuwa creates humanity, Qing Xuan proposes that Fuxi establish the Human Teachings so the new race will be educated rather than left dependent on outside forces. Fuxi accepts the responsibility and establishes a teaching open to all humans. 41
The Human Dao grants him the Kongtong Seal, a Supreme Innate Spiritual Treasure tied to Human Race Destiny, to suppress the teachings’ destiny. Under Fuxi’s guidance, humanity rapidly forms tribes and develops despite its physical weakness. 41 55
When the Demon Race’s atrocities against humans become impossible to reconcile, Fuxi publicly declares that humans and demons can never coexist. The oath of hundreds of millions of humans consolidates Human Race Destiny and turns collective grief into a lasting will of resistance. 72
Qing Xuan later entrusts Fuxi with the Human Emperor Sword and Human Emperor Banner, charging him with protecting humanity and leading it toward self-governance. 78
Reincarnation as a Human
Although he reaches the peak of the Quasi-Saint realm, Fuxi recognizes that he lacks a complete understanding of the Human Dao. At Qing Xuan’s suggestion, he decides to split off a wisp of his True Spirit and reincarnate as a human, risking his cultivation to experience humanity’s struggles firsthand and contend for the Human Emperor position. 128 129
Nuwa and Qing Xuan guard him as he strips away part of his True Spirit. The process significantly weakens his original aura, and Nuwa uses Creation Qi to stabilize him afterward. 130
Houtu conceals and protects the wisp of True Spirit with Reincarnation seals before sending it through the Human Dao path toward the Feng Gun Tribe near the Yellow River. 131
Birth and Rise in the Feng Gun Tribe
Fuxi is born to Huaxu after she encounters a colossal, lightning-wreathed footprint in Lei Ze. Fearing her inexplicable pregnancy, the Feng Gun Tribe expels Huaxu; she survives in a cave beside the Yellow River, aided by a phoenix sent by Qing Xuan. After twelve years of pregnancy, she gives birth to Fuxi. 132
Nuwa manifests at his birth, identifies him as the reincarnation of an ancient great sage, and names him the future Heavenly Emperor of the Human Race. The Feng Gun Tribe subsequently brings Huaxu and Fuxi back with reverence. 132 133
Fuxi grows into a calm, studious child who observes animals, plants, stars, and seasonal patterns. He develops fishing nets inspired by spider webs, improves housing, creates rudimentary writing through symbols carved on bones and shells, identifies medicinal herbs, and shares his knowledge freely with other tribes. 133 137
Enlightenment of the Bagua
Despite his achievements, Fuxi remains troubled by humanity’s vulnerability to floods, droughts, plagues, and beasts. He rejects Guang Chengzi’s offer to pursue personal immortality through the Jade Pure Great Dao, declaring that his Dao lies with the Human Race rather than in the Jade Void Palace. 134 138
After a devastating storm exposes the limits of his existing knowledge, a Dragon Turtle presents him with the River Diagram and Luo Book. With these treasures, Fuxi comprehends the movements of the stars, the pulse of the earth, yin and yang, the Five Elements, and the precursors of natural disasters. 139 140
Using this enlightenment, he establishes the Bagua, a system through which humanity can observe heaven and earth, understand changing conditions, and prepare for fortune or disaster. The breakthrough partially cracks the Reincarnation seal around his True Spirit and alerts the Sages to his return. 140
Co-Lord and Human Emperor
Fuxi returns to the Feng Gun Tribe and teaches the Bagua as the “Science of Observation.” He gathers knowledge from many tribes into humanity’s first systematic body of learning, earning the title Co-Lord. 141
The Three Ancestors of Humanity—Suiren Shi, Youchao Shi, and Ziyi Shi—test his judgment and proclaim him Co-Lord of Humanity with the Kongtong Seal. His ascension unites leaders from hundreds of tribes under a shared mandate. 142
As Co-Lord, Fuxi establishes marriage rules and prohibits same-surname unions, promotes inter-tribal ties, creates a calendar with seasons and solar terms, develops timekeeping methods, advances fishing and animal husbandry, creates musical instruments, forms an early bureaucracy, and standardizes record-keeping. 143
After guiding Shennong for a century, Fuxi retires from the Human Emperor position and transfers it to his disciple. His completed Human Emperor Dao Fruit resonates with the destiny of the entire Human Race, drawing immense merit from Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. 155
Appearance
Fuxi’s original form appears as a young Daoist in black-and-white robes, surrounded by flickering mysterious runes and an air of refined profundity. In his human incarnation, he wears plain linen and carries himself with calm authority despite his mortal surroundings. 5 6 138

Personality
Fuxi is gentle, composed, and humble. Even after Nuwa becomes a Sage, he respects her new status while taking comfort in the fact that their sibling relationship remains unchanged. 41
He is deeply protective of the Human Race and measures every path by whether it can help humanity survive and grow. He refuses Guang Chengzi’s offer of immortality because abandoning suffering humans for personal freedom would leave him unable to find peace. 138
His leadership favors explanation and tangible results over coercion. When tribes resist his marriage laws and calendar reforms, he does not suppress them by force; instead, he lets their practical benefits demonstrate their value. 143
Fuxi is also resolute when confronting danger. He willingly risks splitting his True Spirit and abandoning the security of his Quasi-Saint existence to seek enlightenment through human reincarnation. 129 131
