At Yuko's urging, Rukia finally agreed to move.
As Yuko had said, if Big Brother found out about this, Ichigo and she would probably have to die—at least one of them.
She hoped that person wouldn't be her.
On the other hand, deep down, she had always been curious about this mysterious, unfathomable teacher. By observing her up close, she might be able to uncover more clues about her.
She still had to blame that unscrupulous merchant. He would rather lose money than sell her any information about Teacher Yuko.
Kisuke Urahara had this to say about it.
Money could be earned again once it was gone, but once your life was gone, it was really gone.
The move was exceptionally simple. Rukia didn't have any luggage at all. Aside from a few sets of clothes for her gigai, she had nothing else, so she could move into Yuko's place with just a bag whenever she wanted.
That evening, Yuko accepted Masaki's invitation and went to the Kurosaki Family's house for dinner again.
"I'm here."
At the door, Ichigo scratched his head as he opened it.
"Yo~ Ichigo."
The person greeting him wasn't Yuko, but Rukia, who stood beside her and was smaller in both build and height.
"Aunt Yu... Huh?!"
Ichigo's eyes widened. He instinctively glanced back at his family in the living room, then whispered to the two of them, "What the heck are you doing?!"
"Don't block the way." Yuko couldn't be bothered to waste words on him. She shoved Ichigo aside and strode into the living room with Rukia.
"Oh, Yuko's here." Isshin Kurosaki was playing with Yuzu on the living-room floor. When he saw Yuko enter, he greeted her, then asked, "Hmm? Who's this child?"
Karin, Yuzu, and the others all turned their eyes toward
