Yuko reached out and gripped the blade, slowly pulling it out.

"What?"

Momo Hinamori watched as the blade cut into Yuko's hand, drawing tiny beads of blood. She raised her head, but the anger on her tear-streaked face abruptly froze, replaced by utter bewilderment.

Yuko calmly stared at her, her golden double pupils looking eerie and strange.

This woman... doesn't she feel pain?

The blade was still being pulled out bit by bit. Hinamori had no time to think and hurriedly put all her strength into trying to shove her Zanpakuto back in, but she was completely outmatched by Yuko. The Zanpakuto was soon pulled free.

Hinamori gritted her teeth and retreated, gripping the Zanpakuto's hilt tightly with both hands as she glared at Yuko with hatred.

The wounds on Yuko's palm and abdomen slowly healed, the blood drawing back into her body. Soon, they had completely recovered without leaving even a scar.

"Monster..." Seeing this, Momo Hinamori retreated a step in a daze, her hand trembling slightly around the sword.

"Little girl, anger can't defeat an enemy." Yuko tilted her head calmly. "What are you to Aizen? Why do you hate me so much?"

Yuko noticed the shoulder badge bearing the character "Five" on her arm.

Is she Aizen's Vice-Captain?

The amount of this spiritual pressure was indeed at Vice-Captain level.

Though she was rather weak.

"Shut up! You're not allowed... You're not allowed to mention Captain Aizen's name!" Momo Hinamori grew agitated again. She raised her Zanpakuto as her spiritual pressure began to surge. "I absolutely... absolutely will kill you!"

"What a bother..." Yuko sighed. "Even if I told you now that Aizen was a terrible person, you wouldn't believe me, would you?"

"Shut up!" Momo Hinamori charged over with her Zanpakuto in hand.
