"Hmph. Someone without even a Zanpakuto still understands Bankai based on outdated knowledge from a hundred years ago." Yuko let out a soft snort, showing no mercy with her words. "Having you teach them would truly be misleading them."

"Hah? You little bastard, are you mocking me?" Yoruichi's temple twitched again. She planted her hands on her hips. "My Hakuda and Flash Roar are more useful than some Captains' Bankai! Besides, who said I don't have a Zanpakuto? I'm just too lazy to use it!"

She had figured it out! One absolutely could not admit to making a mistake when talking to Yuko. Not only would one fail to receive any kindness, one would instead be subjected to an endless pursuit.

"Oh? Is that so?" Yuko drawled, looking extremely punchable. "Could it be that your Zanpakuto's manifested form is too hideous to look at, so you're embarrassed to bring it out?"

"It's fine. Look, even if it's a useless old man or someone from a circus, it doesn't matter." Yuko grew more and more enthusiastic. "As the saying goes, even an ugly bride has to meet her parents-in-law."

"Yoruichi, you can't just because your Zanpakuto looks ugly—"

"Ugly my ass!" Yoruichi leaped straight up. Under Yuko's stunned gaze, she transformed back into a black cat, then swung a large black leg over and slapped it right across Yuko's face.

As Yuko repeatedly blocked her attacks, she continued muttering, "Don't think that just because you've turned into a kitty, I'll be too embarrassed to hit you."

Yoruichi stopped her claws at that. Just as Yuko thought she had gotten scared and was about to push her luck, Yoruichi covered her face with one paw.

"I'm begging you, could you act normal for once?"

Yuko: "..."

Yuko scratched at the hair beside
