"What, what do you mean?" Kisuke Urahara looked over in bewilderment, only to see Yuko's expression soften slightly, apparently because of his apology. The moment she noticed him looking, however, her gentle expression stiffened again.
Kisuke Urahara nearly peed himself.
Had she found out about what he did?
Yuko was somewhat puzzled by the change in his expression and was just about to ask.
"Most humbly..." Kisuke Urahara dropped to his knees again, only to be interrupted once more.
"Ah! Ishida! The Ishida Family is nearby, right?"
Orihime Inoue's sudden outburst interrupted Kisuke Urahara's kneeling apology.
Uryu Ishida looked down. "Indeed it is. Mr. Urahara, just let me off here."
Kisuke Urahara hurriedly replied, "Understood."
Thank goodness the subject changed.
Ichigo waved his hand. "Bye, Ishida. I'll come find you if anything happens."
"Are you kidding me? You don't remember?" Uryu Ishida crouched halfway at the edge and glanced back. "Kurosaki."
"You're a Soul Reaper, and I'm a Quincy."
"The next time we meet, we'll be enemies."
As soon as he finished speaking, Uryu Ishida pushed off with his foot, his body already halfway out when he suddenly heard a voice from behind.
Yuko said flatly, "Is that so? Then I'll arrange for the two of you to sit together next term."
Uryu Ishida's body lurched for an instant before he began falling headfirst.
"Ah! Ishida seems to be falling headfirst. Is he going to be all right?" Orihime Inoue crawled two steps outside and looked down.
Chad said flatly, "He's really not sincere at all."
"Who can say otherwise?"
Everyone got off the vehicle one after another. The last to leave were Yuko and Ichigo, neighbors who lived on the same street.
Yuko lifted Yoruichi down from the top of her head. "Let's keep in touch afterward."
Yoruichi nodded.
