Chizuru's Expectations

"Deep crimson with a plunging V-neck?" Yuko glanced at the fabric in Yoruichi's hands, the corner of her mouth twitching. "Yoruichi, do you have some misunderstanding about the teaching profession? If I wore this out with my students, I'd be bombarded with complaints the next day. I wouldn't even be able to finish writing my resignation."

"What does it matter?" Yoruichi said indifferently, picking up the swimsuit and holding it against Yuko. "Worst comes to worst, you can always go back to your old line of work."

"Exactly." Masaki fanned the flames from the side. "It is pretty daring, but with Yuko's cool, alluring air, she could definitely pull it off!"

"Cool and alluring?" Yoruichi examined Yuko suspiciously for two seconds. If she didn't open her mouth, she did indeed look the part.

Yuko immediately crossed both hands in an X. "Rejected."

She turned and walked toward another rack, where relatively plain swimsuits hung.

Ochi Miyu watched from the side, dazzled by the sheer variety. She clutched the pink ruffled swimsuit in her hands and murmured, "Your friends certainly have a lot of personality."

She never would have expected Mrs. Kurosaki to be this improper, either.

"Don't mind them. They're just getting older and going through menopause." Yuko casually picked up a long-sleeved two-piece swimsuit. "How about this one?"

Miyu glanced at it, hesitating. "Isn't it a little too plain? It does fit your style, Yuko, but since we're finally going to the beach..."

The top half was a long-sleeved blue ruffled shirt, while the bottom was a matching little blue ruffled skirt. On the beach, this style could only be described as plain. It was barely any better than a one-piece.
