"Stop spouting nonsense!"

Seeing the three Bavents casually discussing things as if they were alone, completely ignoring them, Shuhei gathered spiritual pressure beneath his feet and was about to use Flash Step to move to the second-floor corridor.

Koga Go noticed his movement and waved his hand, ordering Dalk to smash its hands toward the three people in the hall.

"Shinigami, if you have what it takes, then follow me." Sawa let out a sinister chuckle and headed deeper into the mansion. The sight looked especially strange on someone with a young man's appearance.

"I'll leave this place to you two."

The three dodged Dalk's attack. Soi Fon leaped into the air and, after leaving them with those words, stepped on the air and activated Flash Step, chasing after Sawa and leaving the hall.

"Tsk, we've really been underestimated."

Shuhei looked up toward the second-floor corridor. Neither Sawa nor Ushiki could be seen anymore. Only Koga Go remained, and he clicked his tongue in annoyance.

They actually wanted to deal with two Vice-Captains alone. These Bavents were truly arrogant.

"Shuhei, don't fall for the enemy's provocation." Kira was unexpectedly able to calm down at a time like this, just as Sister Yuko had assessed these Vice-Captains.
