Background / History

The Demon Palace's traditions trace its origin to the Dao Tradition of the Nine Underworlds Demon Lord, which its founding ancestors acquired in Lihun Heaven. Its foundational art, the Nine Underworlds Devil Scripture, was initially too difficult to cultivate for the sect to become more than a minor force. 6975

According to the Demon Palace Lord, the Heaven Swallowing Race sent selected clansmen into other worlds through a method described as “borrowing a shell to lay eggs,” and the Nine Underworlds Demon Palace emerged from this arrangement. 7483

Because the city has no natural sun or moon, the Demon Palace uses luminous stones and glowing plants to establish an artificial day-night cycle:
