History

The Primordial World was opened by Pangu. Buzhou Mountain, its foremost mountain, was capable of sustaining the Twenty-Four Petal Creation Green Lotus, while Saint-level power was dangerous enough to threaten the world’s physical stability. 1 275

Nuwa later broke the shackles imposed by the Heavenly Dao and opened the Human Dao. The Human Dao’s emergence strengthened the world’s origin, expanded Mount Zhou and the Jianmu Tree beyond their prior limits, and dispersed accumulated calamity qi among the Witch, Demon, and Human races. 303

These changes culminated in a dimensional ascension. The ascended world became more resilient: divine abilities that once destroyed mountains could thereafter only shatter boulders, forcing cultivators to re-cultivate and adapt their techniques. Its world membrane and spiritual energy also became vastly stronger. 303 317 766

During the Investiture of the Gods Calamity, Blue Planet served as an alternative arena for the conflict, sparing the Primordial World from a catastrophe involving the Three Daos and Saints. 492 493 Daoism later separated from the Mystic Gate after Heavenly Dao Hongjun conceded defeat to the Three Pure Ones. 751

Following Yang Mei’s defeat, his remaining spatial origin was divided and evolved into myriad worlds beyond Blue Planet. These worlds became destinations for projections, avatars, tribulations, and the expansion of civilizations from Blue Planet and the Primordial World. 798 799

The Three Daos

• Heavenly Dao — Originally the dominant order governing Heaven and Earth; its shackles were severed when Nuwa opened the Human Dao. 303
• Earth Dao — A coequal path represented by Houtu as its Dao Lord. The Nine Nether Realm is an important Earth Dao domain and site of reincarnation. 398 766
• Human Dao — Opened by Nuwa and centered on all living beings, particularly the Human Race. Its development is tied to civilization, the cultivation of the mind, and the Human Sovereign’s karmic position. 303 755 785

Dimensional Ascension

• The ascension deepened the world’s origin and made Great Dao laws easier to comprehend. 303
• The Jianmu Tree gained enough capacity to absorb and transform the world’s accumulated calamity qi. 303
• The world membrane became countless times stronger than before, and spiritual energy underwent a qualitative transformation. 766
• Higher resilience came with a cost: pre-ascension divine abilities no longer displayed their former destructive scale without renewed cultivation. 317

Reincarnation

The Primordial World has undergone multiple reincarnations, though knowledge of these cycles is rare. Pan King retained memories from several cycles after gaining consciousness within the opened world, while Yang Mei confirmed that dimensional ascension had not occurred in prior cycles. 819 766

Different reincarnations can contain different Chaos Pearls, and traces of Fate may persist across worlds from separate cycles. 1059 The Human Race’s repeated survival through calamities has led Zhou Qingqing and the Three Pure Ones to identify it as a possible bearer of “the One that escaped.” 1050

Investiture of the Gods Calamity

Heavenly Dao Hongjun initiated the calamity through the Investiture of the Gods List, declaring that it would establish a divine path spanning Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. 488 To prevent Saint-level conflict from damaging the dimensionally ascended Primordial World, the central struggle was transferred to Blue Planet. 492 493

Immeasurable Calamity

The Immeasurable Calamity is linked to the world’s recurring reincarnations and remains a looming danger even after major changes to the current cycle. Yang Mei believed that the dimensional ascension could hasten its arrival. 751 766

World-Destroying Mill

The World-Destroying Mill appears when the Immeasurable Calamity is born. A projection formed at Undying Fire Mountain from fragments of Great Dao laws and threatened the destruction of the Heaven, Earth, and Human Three Daos. 839

The mill ultimately vanished after Zhou Qingqing passed through the altered Ferocious Beast Calamity and subdued it; she later used its aura in her plan to shatter myths and bring about the Dharma-Ending Age. 843 846
