The Future of the Undead Empire, as the Sun Moon Empire Attempts a Last Stand

Compared with short-lived humans, Undead Beings, as immortal administrative personnel, were vastly superior in every respect.

The mere fact that they could rapidly learn vast amounts of knowledge through Sacred Undead Fire was something humans simply could not match.

Certainly, humans could also learn quickly through Sacred Undead Fire.

But could their gradual, bit-by-bit learning possibly compare to Undead Beings directly imprinting knowledge into their souls?

Moreover, Soul Strength directly determined one's capacity for comprehension.

Given equal talent and intelligence, humans would be utterly crushed by Undead Beings in both comprehension and learning speed.

At the same level, an Undead Being who had governed for centuries, supplemented by the experience left behind by its "predecessors," would undoubtedly govern far more efficiently than any ordinary human.

Undead Beings could work at high intensity twenty-four hours a day without even needing rest. Humans could not, could they?

If anything happened, mid-rank and higher Undead Beings could immediately mobilize the low-rank Undead Beings slumbering in cemeteries outside the city to suppress it. Humans could not, could they?

If Evil Soul Masters, criminals, or the like were captured and needed to be sentenced, or if there was a lawsuit to settle, Undead Beings could simply read their souls.

Reading memories directly was faster and more efficient than any interrogation method.

And most importantly...

Undead Beings had no selfish desires. Other than evolving the essence of their souls, they had virtually no desires at all.

As long as one was alive, one would have desires.

But what desires could Undead Beings possibly have?

Money?

Undead Beings did not need it.

Lust?

When they could directly stimulate the soul, who still needed dopamine to put on a show?

Power?

Under the Undead Empire's unique pyramid-style system of rule, the positive feedback brought by power was pitifully
