Originally, I wrote the double Xiao Yans intending to show how Flame Emperor Xiao Yan created the Endless Fire Domain, making up for the regret that Great Ruler never covered the founding of the Endless Fire Domain, as well as Yao Lao.
But after writing for a while, I discovered that everyone seemed to have no interest in Great Ruler, and didn't really feel any regret about the founding of the Endless Fire Domain either.
I mainly write fanfiction to complete things the original work didn't have, filling in holes and regrets. If everyone doesn't feel much regret about Great Ruler or the Endless Fire Domain, then I won't write Flame Emperor founding the Endless Fire Domain, and there won't be two Xiao Yans either.
After I wake up tomorrow, I'll make a poll in the full-subscription opinion group and see what everyone thinks.
Note: This change won't affect the outline. The two Xiao Yans aren't the main plot and aren't important. I said before that Flame Emperor Xiao Yan and Soul Hall Xiao Yan were separate; deleting it won't affect what comes later. Those who've read the latest chapter should also understand that this Xiao Yan didn't just join Soul Hall.
