Xiao Yi Xian is Green Mountain Town's most famous physician. More than half of its mercenaries have received treatment from her, making her widely respected and fiercely defended by locals. She leads a herb-gathering expedition into the Magical Beast Mountain Range, which Xiao Yan joins 57 58.

Their first private encounter is antagonistic: Xiao Yan threatens to burn away her clothes unless she reveals the location of a hidden cave. She persuades him to postpone their exploration until night to avoid attracting Mu Li's suspicion. Inside the tomb, she opens a stone gate, identifies valuable herbs, and claims the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture. She also secretly prepares sleeping powder in case Xiao Yan attacks her 59 60.

Awakening the Woeful Poison Body

Touching the scripture awakens her Woeful Poison Body. Its effects turn the medicines she prepares into poison, unintentionally poisoning patients in Green Mountain Town. Mu She and Boss Yao pursue her for the scripture and cave treasures; Xiao Yan eventually rescues her from Ten Thousand Medicines Hall 73 75 76.
