The Stairwell

The stairwell of Chaos Tower was even more chaotic. Staircases of all styles and materials were crammed haphazardly into a corridor the size of a football field, each one leading to a special area of Chaos Tower.

Little Nurse had not been here in a long time either, and had no idea where to go.

Just as they hesitated, a single beam of moonlight spilled down from above, illuminating one section of staircase.

Not only that,

Lorien, dressed in a white coat and wearing rubber gloves, also took the initiative to step out from the doorway and stand at the end of the stairs.

"William, you've learned some new things again... The fusion of the Abyss and the flesh is truly frightening. You knocked the high-quality Moon Beast I cultivated out of action with just one palm.

"And you can still escape through the Abyss despite the spatial disturbance.

"As expected of someone I once thought highly of. Come on up. I happen to be conducting a stability modification experiment. If you can help me advance the process, you really might be able to bring the moon into your circus a little sooner."

"Mm."

As William walked up the stairs, Little Nurse stopped following him. She lowered her head and said, "Director! Since you're here, I'll take my leave."

Unexpectedly, Lorien said with a smile, "No~ don't leave. Come up together."

"Yes."

They followed Lorien up the stairs,

and arrived at the floor named the Pharmaceutical Modification Room.

"Lorien, it seems you have more than one method of modification here?"

"Of course there's more than one. This is my first time encountering the world connected to Galon. The things inside are simply too outrageous, with no discernible rules at all.
