For some reason, Gryph had felt inexplicably irritated ever since he first saw William.

Following the personality of the detective he was playing, he quickly came up with a method that fell outside the available checks. With the attitude of simply giving it a try, Gryph ignored the prompt echoing in his mind, opened the whiskey, and took a sip, letting the alcohol rush to his head.
