The red-and-black Circus Tent was fully unfurled atop the mountain closest to the Skin Factory,
The flesh-colored mist surrounding the tent slowly dispersed, no longer restricting their vision. Under the gaze of the blood nobles, people began walking out of the tent entrance.
Squeak, squeak~
Dozens of 'Balloon People' emerged from the tent with comical footsteps.
They all wore colorful suits pieced together from cloth of different colors. The most distinctive feature was their heads, which had been replaced by rubber balloons of various colors.
The balloon heads resembled the clown sculpture atop the tent. Exaggerated smiling faces had been painted on them in red, with spiral patterns drawn over them in black.
They carried all sorts of decorative props. Some hung colorful neon string lights all over the tent, making it even more conspicuous, while others laid multicolored striped carpets in front of the entrance.
They also carried arrow-shaped signboards several meters long. Along the mountain path between the Stitched Gate and the tent, they placed one sign every dozen meters or so, preventing the blood people who came out of the Skin Factory to watch the performance from losing their way.
Of course... the blood people naturally would not let this group of Balloon People leave without taking advantage of the opportunity.
A Count attending a gathering at Emerald Manor volunteered. Bringing dozens of ordinary blood people who had been circling Mount Skinbag, he descended, preparing to capture these Balloon People alive and infiltrate their minds to learn about the circus's internal situation.
The Count was also extremely cautious. Every few dozen meters, he cast a blood plague secret art. The blood that overflowed from his palm transformed into several long whips, which directly wrapped around a Balloon Person who was hammering in a wooden stake.
