Li Tongya was born to Li Mutian and became one of the Li Family members responsible for managing village affairs. He declined the title of Young Clan Leader, presenting himself instead as someone handling the family’s everyday matters. 31

His cultivation was constrained by the Li Family’s early poverty. Although he had reached Jade Capital by age thirty, he refused to exhaust decades of family income on Lesser Pure Spiritual Qi and chose a slower path forward. 72 He later married Liu Rouxuan after initially urging her to place cultivation before marriage. 36 37 230
