Xia Chujian could not be bothered with those natives at all.

She carefully observed the herd of beasts charging out of the mountains and forests.

The leader was clearly a White Tiger with enormous feathered wings.

It moved with astonishing speed, like a racing antique motorcycle, putt-putt-putting forward and smashing through one shack after another until everyone inside fled out.

Behind it were three other unusual large Fierce Beasts: a red leopard, a Yellow Lion, and a Black Hound, all charging over with ferocious aura.

Their bodies were many times larger than ordinary leopards, lions, and dogs, yet they were not slow in the slightest.

And on closer inspection, the appearances of these leopards, lions, and Black Hounds differed greatly from the versions Xia Chujian knew from ten thousand years later.

For instance, the golden lion had long Fangs protruding from its mouth, only slightly shorter than an elephant's tusks.

The red leopard had a strange horn growing from its head, surprisingly similar in function to a Unicorn Cattle's horn.

That Black Hound was even stranger. It was many times larger than the dogs Xia Chujian knew! Its black fur was so luxuriant that it resembled wild grass rippling in the wind.

When it ran at full speed, red faint light shone from beneath the long black fur concealing its body, as though its body bore Marks made up of lines following some unknown pattern. It was exceedingly eerie.

Yes, Xia Chujian felt that these four leading animals were not ordinary forest predators, but Demon Beasts!

Led by these four Demon Beasts, a huge group of ordinary animals commonly found in the forest came charging forward.

There were lions without Fangs, leopards without horns, ordinary black dogs, Brown Bears, Jackals, and countless smaller animals that were impossible to make out
