Miao Xia grabbed the disciple by the collar and roared, "Who told you Jiang Ping An was dead? How dare you fool your senior sister? I'll smash your head in!"

The refined-looking Miao Jing walked over and pulled his daughter's hand away.

"But he's talking nonsense! He said your disciple is dead!" Miao Xia was beside herself with rage as she tipped back a mouthful of wine.

"They weren't wrong. Jiang Ping An... may really have met with trouble." Miao Jing's voice was grave.
