Detonating an Immortal Artifact

Inside the warehouse, dozens of powerhouses stared at Jiang Ping An like hungry wolves.

"There's really no need to fight. There are so many warehouses here, enough for all of us to split." Another group of Cultivators spoke.

"Agreed." A third faction echoed them.

The Yellow-Clothed Female Cultivator said to the people from the other factions, "We discovered this Array Master first. We haven't opened any warehouses yet, so we should use him first."

"Of course. After you open one, let us use him."

The three factions negotiated very amicably, appearing perfectly reasonable. Yet they completely ignored Jiang Ping An's feelings as the person involved—or rather, they did not care about him at all.

In their eyes, Jiang Ping An was merely a tool. He had no right to choose.

After the discussion ended, the group finally turned their attention back to Jiang Ping An. Their expressions became indifferent, no longer as friendly as when they faced Cultivators of the same realm.

"You can keep the Immortal Artifact in your hand, but you need to help us open the array."

They would use those words to steady this Array Master. Once he opened the array, they would snatch the Immortal Artifact back. If he failed to appreciate their kindness, they would send him to his death.

"Hahaha, you want me to painstakingly open the array for you. Not only will you give me no benefits, you even act as if you're bestowing something upon me. Hahaha~"

"Are you courting death?"
