This post was originally written for the World Forum, so technically I shouldn't have included any personal bias. But I can't help it. I'm a Central China native by birth, and there are some things I still have to say.
The Second City government never cooperated with Red Sun, but Abe no Seimei still gained the greatest advantage. Most likely, he'll be the city lord. Though I'd expected this outcome, I still have mixed feelings about it.
Even without official cooperation, he still showed a pro-China policy. He gave people from the first-tier sequence priority entry and better initial benefits when settling in, while Central China players who chose the research route were directly given ten thousand points of initial education credits. This pro-China policy was almost as aggressive as Song Zaiyi's in the Cosmos Country.
The appeal is very strong, and with little competition, it's actually an excellent choice. But it's hard to say what things will be like later on. Red Sun has a large population, and the conflict between the two races is also intense. It's impossible to say what Qing Ming is really planning, so I hope everyone will choose carefully.
Personally, I've always felt that guy was up to no good...
To wrap things up, let's start with city selection. Research Players should prioritize Hua Xia City, followed by the Second City. Lord Players should prioritize the First City, followed by the Third City. Those with great confidence in themselves or enormous Private Factions can consider the Fifth City.
Next is race selection. I don't recommend choosing the same old three races. The new races have huge advantages and fit their cities' Civilization Traits extremely well. The Baijia Race in particular was practically born for Biological Department civilizations. First-tier sequence players are advised to prioritize
