In the Demon Realm, Purgatory City Pasquale, the Purgatory Land on the outskirts of the city.
The intricate, interlocking corridor buildings were supported by pillars and suspended high above Purgatory, like a rivet hanging in the air.
At the top floor of the academy stood a classical, solemn Conference Room. Its lofty dome was covered in Demon Realm murals, while barrier statues embedded in the black stone walls glimmered with purple spellwork. Every detail proclaimed the status of the demonfolk permitted to enter this Conference Room.
The principal's seat at the front was empty.
The deputy principal, who had held that position at the school for many years, sat in the chief seat to the side.
"We absolutely cannot afford any mistakes this time, including being fooled by a fake principal. Something like that must never happen again!"
A teacup sat before the deputy principal. As he spoke, he occasionally tapped the table twice.
"The troublesome part is that the new principal will possess the school's highest authority.
