After they sat down, Mei Hui used tongs to put some ice cubes into each of their glasses, then poured in shochu.

"Mr. Su, give it a try."

"Okay." Su Yang answered, picked up his glass, and swirled it to fully mix the alcohol and ice.

A few seconds later, he tipped his head back and downed it in one go. "Mmm! Not bad!"

"Really? Can you get used to the taste?"

"Of course. I even think it tastes pretty good."

"That's good."

The two of them sat close together. Since they were so near, Su Yang could catch a faint, delicate fragrance coming from Mei Hui.

Combined with the constant stimulation of the alcohol, it made him feel a little light-headed.

Whether intentionally or not, Mei Hui shifted closer to Su Yang from time to time.

Under the dim firelight, her flushed face and seductive eyes were clearly visible.

Su Yang swallowed, and his heartbeat unconsciously quickened.

They drank and chatted. Once they had reached a certain level of intoxication, they talked about practically everything, and somehow the subject of Mei Hui's ex-husband came up again.

Mei Hui had drunk quite a bit, so she spoke without the slightest restraint, telling him everything.
