"Can I lean on you for a bit?" Qin Su asked softly.

"Aren't you already leaning on me?" Su Yang said with a smile.

"I'll only lean on you for five minutes."

"Sure. Go ahead."

Qin Su said nothing more. She simply rested against Su Yang's shoulder as the two of them gazed at the night sky.

Unfortunately, this was downtown Magic City, where light pollution was severe. It was hard to see a sky full of stars from here.

If there had been a starry sky to go with it, the scene would have been incredibly romantic.

The two of them remained motionless on the sofa and stopped chatting.

More than ten minutes later, Su Yang turned and gently helped Qin Su up.

She had fallen asleep at some point. Looking at her delicate features, Su Yang nearly lost control and kissed her.

He stood up, scooped Qin Su up around the waist again, and carried her toward the living room.

A minute later, Su Yang carried Qin Su back to her room.

He placed Qin Su on the bed, pulled up the covers, and left without looking at her again.

As soon as the bedroom door closed, Qin Su slowly opened her eyes.

She gazed toward the door, smiled sweetly, and closed her eyes again.

Just as Su Yang reached the stairs, the system's voice rang out in his mind.

Ding! Qin Su's favorability toward the host has increased to: 80

Hearing the system's notification, Su Yang muttered, "I knew this girl wasn't really asleep. She was testing me on purpose. Good thing I didn't do anything, or raising her favorability probably wouldn't have been so easy."

As he spoke, Su Yang hurried downstairs, entered his room, and lay down.
