Getting It for Free

Jiang Ning did not head straight home. It was still early, and the sun was shining nicely.

The two children grew even more envious. They were probably wondering why, though they were all children, she could be so happy and have an adult pay for her things.

Xue Yuantong slowly bit into a Sugar-coated Haw, then looked toward the nearby vegetable stalls. "My mom won't be back until after ten tonight. We'll have to fend for ourselves for dinner."

Evergreen Liquid Group was holding a celebration banquet that evening. As employees of Evergreen Liquid, Aunt Gu and Hua Fengmei were qualified to attend.

"Should we buy groceries and cook at home, or have Tofu Brain?" She pointed toward a Tofu Brain stall.

"What do you want to eat?" She wanted to eat everything she saw, but they could not buy too many vegetables. It would be wasteful if they could not finish them.

"It's hard to decide."
