This week would bring exam day. For high school students, the Final Exam was important; to a certain extent, it determined whether they could enjoy a good New Year.

In the bitter cold, the sound of Class 8 reading during morning self-study was noticeably louder than usual.

After morning self-study ended, a group of boys headed for the cafeteria together. The student masses hurried along, while Cui Yu laughed and exhaled a huge cloud of mist. "Jiaojiao didn't come this morning!"

Qiang Li, who worked out regularly, asked, "What happened to Jiaojiao?"

Liu Chuandao spread a rumor. "Qiangzi, what's this? You care that much about Jiaojiao? Don't tell me you've fallen for her?"

Qiang Li hurriedly distanced himself from her, only to be teased by everyone again.

Cui Yu gave a sleazy grin. "I asked the class monitor. She said Jiaojiao got sick and took leave."

The group suddenly recalled how Pang Jiao had asked in the group chat last night about shortcuts to losing weight. She really worked hard. While everyone else discussed the Final Exam and how to spend winter vacation, only Pang Jiao asked about weight loss.

Later, Zhang Chi mocked her, saying she only talked about it all day and never took action.

Pang Jiao cursed Zhang Chi out for five minutes. After Cui Yu egged them on, they cursed each other out for another five minutes.

Later, Cui Yu claimed that cold showers were excellent for weight loss. Hot things expanded and cold things contracted, so cold water made the skin tighten inward, forcing the fat out. Once the fat was gone, wouldn't you be thin?

Cui Yu had merely made a little suggestion, yet Pang Jiao came down with a fever that morning.

"Vicious. You're really vicious!" Liu Chuandao praised
